This Petite Heure Minute Smalta Clara Humming Bird watch features an offset small hour and minute dial at 2 o'clock on the main face. The background of the haute horlogerie watch is a lively and colorful rendition of the hummingbird using a plique-à-jour enameling process that dates back 1,500 years. It is akin to a miniature stained-glass window on the wrist. Each section of translucent enamel is outlined in gold and then filled in by hand and fired multiple times. The 35mm watch is incredibly time-consuming to make, and just eight pieces will be made. Each is set with 100 diamonds on the bezel and lugs.
