British watch brand Bremont, which is close to opening a full-fledged, vertically integrated watch manufacture in Henley-on-Thames, naturally would only join forces with a British automotive brand: Jaguar. Now, after several collaborations since 2014, the brand has created the Jaguar D-Type to honor Jaguar Classic's reinstated production of the D-Type race car of the 1950s. The mechanical chronograph celebrates the golden era of motorsports with a vintage motif. The watch features a blue dial with a bi-compax chronograph and brushed nickel subdials. Red accents and a tachymeter outer dial ring complete the robust look of the 43mm chronometer.Asapphire crystal caseback allows for viewing of the rotor, which is shaped like the Jaguar steering wheel. The crown, topped with the Jaguar logo in enamel, is etched with the original Dunlop tire tread motif.

Time began for Bremont in 2002, and it has been steadily ticking as they continue to make gorgeous and sturdy timepieces. Starting with the quality pilot's watch that saw its initial rise to success, every watch that has followed is crafted and tested to withstand all of life's surprises. The British brand partners with some of the best engineering companies to continue bettering themselves, including Martin-Barker, Jaguar and Rolls-Royce Aerospace, constantly birthing robust new watches.Risk and adventure rivets not only their production line, but also characterizes their collections. Featuring lines such as Altitude, Supermarine, Motorsport and Armed Forces, the timepieces in these collections both embody and encourage boundary pushing. The functionality and finesse that flying demands is encapsulated within the Pilot Chronographs whose triumphant technicality and versatile design allows for watches to be worn with personal pride and flair. Sleek monochrome design and water resistance found in the Supermarine watches make it suitable for all weather conditions.
