This week’s feature is sure to delight oenophiles and gourmands alike; Le Bristol Paris has begun the sixth annual Wine Mondays series at its renowned, Michelin-starred restaurant, 114 Faubourg.
Beginning on November 7, 114 Faubourg will serve Domaine Jean Macle’s Jura wine. Laurent Macle, son of the founders, will present one of Château-Chalon’s chief yellow wines and speak on the winery’s legacy. The featured wine will be expertly paired with a four-course tasting menu prepared by Chef Jean-Charles Cauquil.
Hosted by Sommelier Fabien Guillemot, Wine Mondays brings the industry’s finest wine growers to Le Bristol Paris once per month for an engaging evening of wine and culinary experiences.
“This is a unique opportunity for winemakers to introduce their unique wines and share wine amateurs their expertise, their passion for the terroir and their métier, and the fervor to preserve its singularities,” said Guillemot. “We are honored to host them and celebrate their authenticity at 114 Faubourg.”
Running through June 2017, Wine Mondays is priced at $145 per guest. The full schedule includes wines from Domaine Bernard Millot Meursault, Domaine Thibaud Boudignon Savennières, Champagne Dehours et Fils, Domaine de Vaccelli Corse and Domaine Georges Vernay. If you won’t be in town on the eve of the event, not to worry— guests can continue to enjoy the spotlighted wine on 114 Faubourg’s menu for the following month.
For your chic Parisian stay, we recommend the Imperial Suite. At 3,475 sq ft, it is the largest suite at Le Bristol and personifies the romance and opulence of classic French style in its decor. Overlooking the hotel’s French garden, the dining room can accommodate up to 12 guests for exclusive dinners prepared by one of the hotel’s acclaimed chefs. The main bedroom offers a sitting area, two large dressing rooms and a bathroom in pink Aurora marble with grey-blue cabochons.
