Scents are sensual business. A gift of perfume for Valentine’s Day can be deeply personal, an ode to femininity and emotion. For the perfect fragrance, Louis Vuitton’s pop-up shop is now open at South Coast Plaza in California.
The brand’s first fragrance pop-up in the Americas, the venue celebrates Les Parfums Louis Vuitton—its first perfume launch in 70 years. Seven fragrances created by Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud make up the new collection: Rose des Vents, an airy floral trio of three roses; Turbulences, a seductive tuberose scent; Dans la Peau, a musk with touches of Chinese magnolia; Apogée, a lily-of-the-valley natural; Contre Moi, with fresh vanilla notes; Matière Noire, a woody blackcurrant and floral; Mille Feux, fruity and lightly sweet.
The pop-up has landed in California after a global, five-city tour, which included stops at Printemps Haussmann, and Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche in Paris, Harrods in London, Shinsegae Gangnam in Seoul and the Dubai Mall. Inside, the California pop-up is modern with gold accents, flowers, Louis Vuitton trunks and the Damier pattern to highlight the fragrances on sleek white displays. Louis Vuitton Costa Mesa South Coast Plaza will be open until July 2017.
Fragrances in the Les Parfums Louis Vuitton collection are available in a 100 ml ($240) and 200 ml size ($350). If you won’t make it to the stateside pop-up, shop the collection online at louisvuitton.com.
Louis Vuitton Costa Mesa South Coast Plaza pop-up is located at 3333 Bristol Street, Costa Mesa, CA 92626.
