Taking pride of place in Amsterdam’s Museum Quarter, the grand hotel Conservatorium provides a luxurious place to stay that’s within moments of the city’s cultural sites, while combining its historic façade with stylish interiors and a wealth of luxury amenities. Now, as the prestigious hotel turns five, guests are invited to experience The Big Five package, combining a lavish three-night stay with five exclusive city tours.
While staying in the sprawling 155 square-meter I Love Amsterdam Suite, which makes the most of its privileged location with 360-degree views over the rooftops, guests can indulge in the hotel’s Akasha holistic wellness center, spa and dining facilities, with the added indulgence of butler service, champagne on arrival and breakfast in the suite or Brasserie. Guests arrive in style with a private Bentley transfer, and have the opportunity to take lunch with the Conservatorium’s general manager Roy Tomassen.
More than just a hotel stay, the package gives each guest an immersive experience of the city by encompassing five of the most exclusive tours Amsterdam offers. Carefully selected by the Conservatorium’s network of local experts, the package includes a private canal boat tour with Michelin star fare, a private guided tour of the Van Gogh Museum, and a helicopter tour over the 700-year-old city. One of the Conservatorium’s cultural ambassadors will then take guests on a private tour of the city’s hidden highlights, such as the design studios that are rarely open to the public. Finally, the package includes a visit to the A’DAM Lookout skyline experience for panoramic views of the city’s historic center, port and surrounding landscape.
Back at Conservatorium, the Five Steps to Perfection treatment in the Akasha Holistic Wellbeing Center, and eight-course Omakase meal with wine or sake pairing in Taiko, showcase the best the hotel has to offer. Late check-out completes the VIP experience.
Having been originally designed by Dutch architect Daniel Knuttel, it was the building the Conservatorium is now located in that sparked the regeneration of the Museum Quarter at the end of the 19th century. So deeply integrated into the city’s cultural identity, the Conservatorium acts as the ideal base for delving into the rich culture and heritage of Amsterdam.
The three-night Big Five Package at Conservatorium is available until 31 December 2017 for $12,430 (according to the current exchange rate). conservatoriumhotel.com
