Marking Ferrari’s 70th anniversary, Americana Manhasset will be hosting the 13th annual Concours D’Elegance on October 8. A celebration of speed and style, the show will host some of the world’s most rare and luxurious cars as they compete for the title of Best in Show.
With iconic cars such as the 1960 Series II 250 BF Blue Ferrari, 1952 Aston Martin DB2 and the 1985 Ferrari 288GTO all on display, it’s set to be a brilliant day out for all petrolheads. For those of you wanting to have a look at something slightly more modern, the Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus SCG 003 will also be on display, which is one of the world’s most innovative carbon fiber supercars, designed to compete at the highest level (before becoming street legal after a quick tire change).
Judging begins at 9:30am, with the Hermès’s Saint-Louis Crystal division tasked with deciding which car looks best. The winners will receive a customized Tiffany & Co. crystal plaque, while the Best in Show winner will receive a special prize. There will also be a raffle held throughout the day with the winner taking home a brand new Porsche Macan, and all the proceeds going to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation.
