A First Look at SkyStyle’s 233-foot Superyacht Concept

The impressive vessel boasts a helipad, plunge pool and spacious sky lounge.

Shaped like a bullet with a sharply pointed bow to effortlessly slice through the water, SkyStyle’s futuristic new superyacht concept is anything but ordinary. The design studio teamed up with broker Denison for Project Unique 71, unveiling the first renderings of the impressive 233-foot vessel this week.

And while this is SkyStyle’s first superyacht concept, lead designers Max Pardo and Lucas Colombo brought with them a wealth of experience creating interiors for aircraft giants including Boeing. Eager to share their innovative ideas with the yacht industry, the duo met Denison broker Alex G Clarke at the 2021 Monaco Yacht show and decided to join forces to develop Project Unique 71. “Denison showed great interest in the project and our intention to add new and fresh values to the yacht industry,” recalled Colombo.

The resulting concept certainly doesn’t disappoint. The vessel features wraparound glass panels, allowing guests to soak up the panoramic sea views. And when they need a little more privacy, the opacity of each panel can be adjusted to set the mood.

Designed for cruising the oceans in style, the luxurious superyacht features a helipad, plunge pool with an automatic cover, hot tub and sky lounge with a spacious sun deck.

With a beam measuring 42 feet, the interiors are extra generous. The vessel comfortably hosts up to 12 guests with four roomy cabins and an extravagant VIP suite. Most exclusive of all is the Owner’s master stateroom complete with an illuminated ceiling that opens automatically to let in the fresh ocean breeze.

But the lavish amenities don’t stop there. When they’re not sipping a cocktail on the sun deck and topping up their tan, guests can visit the gym, sauna, billiard room and even watch a show in the 12-seat theater. With so much space, the vessel boasts both an elevator and a central spiral staircase for moving between decks.

Of course, the interior layout can be customized for owners to make the superyacht truly personal. “Unique 71 aims to satisfy the most challenging client,” said Denison broker, Alex G Clarke. “With Denison providing this groundbreaking design, it allows clients to approach multiple shipyards to gather quotes to help develop and make this project a reality without being tied to a particular yard. The challenge is to find a shipyard that can understand this vision and the client’s goals – both as an individual and in their business or personal use of the yacht. We look forward to playing a small role in making this dream come true.”
