In the early 1900’s Raffles Hotel Singapore’s bartender Ngiam Tong Boon created a gin-based cocktail named Singapore Sling in an attractive pink hue to cater to British ladies who discreetly fancied a cocktail whilst in public. The drink is now world famous and Raffles Hotel , Singapore serves close to 2,000 glasses of the Singapore Sling daily. Ngiam locked the original recipe in a safe for many years; however, it has finally been revealed below:
30 ml Gin
15 ml Heering Cherry Brandy
120 ml Pineapple Juice
15 ml Lime Juice
7.5 ml Cointreau
7.5 ml Dom Benedictine
10 ml Grenadine
A Dash of Angostura Bitters
Garnish with a slice of Pineapple and Cherry
Raffles Dubai – “ Dubai Sling”

50ml Plymouth Gin
3 sheet of ginger
1 ½ bsp Fig Jam
30ml Fresh Lemon Juice
20ml Corriander and Chili Gomme (sugar syrup) Dash Peychauds Bitters
Soda to fill
Muddle the ginger inside the boston glass add all the ingredient except soda.
Shake and strain in a sling glass with ice top with soda.
