Las Vegas, Nevada- Reported by Emily Misencik for Elite Traveler, the private jet lifestyle magazine
Chef Nobu Matsuhisa is stepping out of the kitchen and expanding his global empire with the opening of the first Nobu Hotel at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Nobu is known internationally for his fun and creative flair, which he hopes to bring to his first property on the Vegas strip. Guests can start planning their trip to the luxury hotel on October 1 with doors planned to open in late 2012.
The collaboration between Nobu and Caesars Palace sparks the dawning of a new era in Sin City. The 181 room hotel will take over the existing Centurion Tower and aims to create an intimate space filled with to the brim with style, taste, culture and quality. The property, designed by Rockwell Group’s own David Rockwell, is filled with natural materials and textures that counterbalance touches of Vegas glitz.
Not to fear, the new complex ensures guests will be able to taste a bite of Nobu’s signature cuisine with access to Nobu’s first-ever in-room dining menu and express iPad in-room registration. The hotel will also feature the adjoining 12,000 Nobu Restaurant, the first on the strip and largest Nobu Restaurant in the world.
