SOMM, located within the Landmark Mandarin Oriental, presents a modern interpretation of the classic French bistro, showcasing a curated selection of over 1,600 wines, champagnes, and sakes. While SOMM does not currently hold any Michelin stars, its dedication to culinary excellence is evident in its concise menu that honors seasonal ingredients. Designed by Adam D. Tihany, the space features a sculptural walnut wood ceiling reminiscent of a wine barrel, complemented by plush, wine-hued banquettes, creating a refined yet relaxed atmosphere. Note that SOMM is closed for renovations through 2025, promising a refreshed experience upon its reopening.
