The Restaurant
Esora, meaning "painting in the sky," offers a modern Japanese kappo-style cuisine within a heritage shophouse on Mohamed Sultan Road. The dining room, designed with soft curves and natural materials, complements the Japanese aesthetic. Helmed by chef Takeshi Araki, who draws inspiration from nature, the restaurant presents a tasting menu that changes daily, showcasing the finest seasonal produce imported from Japan. Esora has earned one Michelin star for its high-quality cooking. Like the ever-changing sky, Esora aims to present a new experience with each visit, achieving a harmony of flavors by applying modern techniques to Japanese tradition while preserving the integrity of its ingredients. The tasting menu is complemented by tea pairings featuring Taiwanese and Japanese teas.
