The Restaurant
Lu Shang Lu presents diners with an elevated experience of Shandong cuisine, specifically Confucius cuisine, in the heart of Beijing. The restaurant proudly holds two Michelin stars as of 2025, a testament to its unwavering commitment to quality ingredients, exceptional cooking techniques, and consistent standards. Live seafood, a hallmark of Shandong fare, is shipped daily from the Jiaodong peninsula. Chef Haoquan Wang, hailing from Yantai, showcases his deep understanding and passion for his home province's culinary heritage. The inspectors recommend the roast 45-day-old duck served with caviar, prawn crackers, and Shandong pancakes, a dish that artfully combines Beijing and Shandong traditions. In a global first, two of Lu Shang Lu's staff members, Ji Na and Wang Wenhua, were granted the Michelin Sommelier Award for their mastery of tea culture.
