The Restaurant
Located in the KODE 4 art museum with views of Lille Lungegårdsvannet, Lysverket offers a modern take on Norwegian cuisine. Chef Christopher Haatuft, who honed his skills at Per Se and Blue Hill at Stone Barns in New York, passionately oversees the restaurant, creating a minimalist setting where the focus remains on the food. Lysverket earned its first Michelin star in 2021 and presents a tasting menu that highlights the flavors of western Norway, with an emphasis on local seafood. The restaurant sources ingredients from its own diver and collaborates with local gardeners to reduce its environmental impact. The result is a fresh and innovative dining experience that redefines Nordic cuisine.
