The Restaurant
Em Sherif in Dubai offers a slice of old-school Middle Eastern opulence, mirroring its Beirut origins. The brainchild of chef-owner Mireille Hayek, the Dubai outpost provides a party-like ambiance with live folk music, Ottoman-style mirrors, and brilliant blue walls. Eschewing a traditional menu, Em Sherif presents a fixed tasting menu of around 32 small dishes, encouraging guests to arrive hungry. While Em Sherif is celebrated for its Lebanese cuisine, current information does not indicate that the Dubai location has been awarded any Michelin stars as of February 27, 2025. However, the restaurant promises knockout cold and hot meze, succulent meats and fish, and a feast of traditional desserts. Postprandial shisha on the terrace is an optional indulgence.
