The Restaurant
Located within 45 Park Lane, Sushi Kanesaka offers an intimate omakase experience crafted by chef Shinji Kanesaka. The London outpost of the celebrated Tokyo restaurant, which holds two Michelin stars, earned one Michelin star within seven months of opening. Tucked away on the first floor, the thirteen-seat restaurant features a nine-seat counter made from a single piece of hinoki cypress wood, alongside a four-seat private dining room. The serene space is traditionally decorated with bamboo, ceramics, and kumiko panels, creating a tranquil Japanese sanctuary. The tasting menu showcases around eighteen courses, highlighting stunning nigiri interspersed with dishes such as steamed abalone. Much of the seafood is sourced from European waters, while the rice is imported from Yamagata, ensuring an authentic Edomae sushi experience.
