The Restaurant
Araki offers Londoners a chance to experience world-renowned Edomae sushi, prepared with locally sourced ingredients and served with Sado (Tea Ceremony) hospitality. The restaurant provides an intimate experience, seating guests at the chef's table. Chef Mitsuhiro Araki originally opened The Araki in London in 2014, following the success of his three-Michelin-starred restaurant in Tokyo. The London location quickly gained recognition, earning two Michelin stars by 2016 and three stars in 2018. However, following chef Araki's departure in March 2019, the restaurant lost its three stars in the 2020 guide. As of today, The Araki does not currently hold any Michelin stars.
