The Restaurant
Pryo brings the sun-soaked spirit of an island taverna to Borough with traditional Greek cooking, bold cocktails by Ana Reznik and the laid-back energy of a Mediterranean summer. Chef Yiannis Mexis draws on the flavours of his Greek childhood, refined through years in Michelin-starred kitchens. His menu revolves around open-fire cooking, with dishes, whether vegetable, fish or meat, licked by smoke and designed for sharing. Start with mezze-style plates: think spanakopita, saganaki, skewers of souvlaki and creamy dips. Hungrier tables can go big with the show-stopping 50-day-aged Angus ribeye as their table’s centerpiece, or lean into the coastal feel with a whole flame-grilled lobster and a rich roast tomato orzo. Inside, the dining room hums with warmth; outside, a spacious terrace shaded by a pergola sets the scene for long, lazy lunches or drawn-out summer dinners. And when the sun dips, the outdoor bar stays open late, for those who want the night to stretch on just a little longer.
