The Restaurant
Schloss Schauenstein, nestled in the smallest town in the world, Fürstenau, offers a dining experience within a bewitchingly beautiful Swiss castle. Chef Andreas Caminada took over the remote landmark in 2003, and it has since become a culinary destination. Marcel Skibba joined Caminada as head chef and partner in January 2023. The restaurant has earned three Michelin stars for its precise haute cuisine. The multi-sensory tasting menu showcases regional produce prepared with astonishing attention to detail and served in sumptuous surroundings. The cuisine draws almost exclusively on what the Graubünden region has to offer, with some ingredients produced on site. The restaurant combines history and modern design, offering a fascinating backdrop for Caminada's culinary magic.
