The Restaurant
Ox & Klee, owned and operated by chef Daniel Gottschlich since 2010, is situated in Cologne's Rheinauhafen district. The restaurant has earned two Michelin stars for its contemporary cuisine. Gottschlich creatively incorporates his "Experience Taste" concept into his tasting menu, presenting the six basic tastes—sweet, sour, bitter, salty, fatty, and umami—using the finest ingredients. Diners can choose between "Ox," which includes fish and meat, and "Klee," a vegetarian option. The imaginative cuisine draws on regional specialties. The restaurant's location in the middle building of the Kranhaus trio offers harbor views and complements the fabulous interior design.
