Located near Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul, Onjium offers a refined experience of Korean royal court cuisine. The restaurant is part of a research institute dedicated to preserving Korean culture, reflected in its meticulous approach to time-honored recipes. Chefs Cho Eun-hee, a certified trainee of Korean royal court cuisine, and Park Sung-bae lead the culinary studio, crafting dishes that showcase seasonal ingredients and the beauty of Korean flavors. The modern facade belies the traditional elements within, mirroring the juxtaposition of Seoul's past and present. Onjium earned one Michelin star for its high-quality cooking and was ranked number twenty-one of Asia's fifty Best Restaurants in 2024.
