The Restaurant
Endo at the Rotunda, situated on the eighth floor of the former BBC Television Centre in White City, offers a refined omakase experience. Ascend via a dedicated lift to discover chef Endo Kazutoshi's sixteen-seat sushi sanctuary. The dining room, with its cloud-shaped light installation, sets a dramatic yet meditative stage for the culinary journey ahead. Born in Yokohama, Endo learned his craft from his mother and grandfather before moving to the UK. The experienced chef is a showman, explaining each element of the tasting menu. Ingredients are either imported from Japan, such as rice from Yamagata, or are the best that Europe has to offer, like monkfish from Brixham and tuna from Spain. Endo at the Rotunda was awarded one Michelin star in 2020, a testament to its high-quality cooking.
