The Restaurant
At the foot of Mont Blanc, in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, lies Hameau Albert 1er, a destination for fine dining. The restaurant, holding one Michelin star, offers a setting with views of the French Alps. Chef Damien Leveau's cuisine draws from the culinary traditions of Savoie and Piedmont, utilizing regional ingredients and produce from the aromatic garden. Since its founding in 1903, Hameau Albert 1er has been run by five generations, with Perrine Carrier now representing the family's commitment. The elegant hamlet is also home to Maison Carrier, which serves regional fare in a former Alpine farmstead.
