Recalling a great era in aviation history, British brand Bremont pays tribute to the Spruce Goose plane built by American Howard Hughes. The plane was the largest aircraft in the world when it was built — using birchwood — in the 1940s. It enjoyed about one minute of flight in 1947. The Bremont H-4 Hercules chronometer commemorates the Spruce Goose and actually has a piece of birchwood from the fuselage on the rotor. The watch is powered by the Bremont automatic BWC/02 movement and offers 24-hour GMT time indication and date, as well as hours, minutes and small hacking seconds.
