Boasting a double tourbillon, this newest Zenith Defy Zero G incorporates a brand first: a gravity control gyroscopic module that enables it to function in zero-gravity environments. This is accomplished by affixing the regulating organ to a gimbal that remains in a flat position no matter the position of the watch — overcoming the effects of gravity on chronometric precision. A redesigned El Primero manually wound movement and sapphire case allow for viewing of the parts that are seemingly suspended in space. The chronograph times to 1/100th of a second. Artistic accents include a handcrafted meteorite mosaic, aventurine glass and miniature painting. Just 10 pieces will be made.
