New York, New York – Reported by Elite Traveler, the Private Jet Lifestyle Magazine
Two hotels in the Trump Hotel Collection were awarded today the coveted Five Diamond status from AAA: Trump International Hotel & Tower® New York and Trump International Hotel & Tower® Chicago. The distinction comes on the heels of a multimillion-dollar renovation of the brand’s New York flagship hotel and less than three years after the Chicago property’s triumphant debut. Trump International Hotel & Tower New York’s signature restaurant, Jean Georges, was also awarded the prestigious AAA Five-Diamond designation.
“This is a great honor and a tremendous reflection on the tireless dedication of the teams at both our New York and Chicago hotels,” said Donald J. Trump, chairman and president, The Trump Organization. “The Trump Hotel Collection includes only the world’s best hotels and to earn two AAA Five Diamond ratings while the brand is so young proves that our instincts are on target. I’m extremely proud of our hotels, and confident that its newer additions are on the path to similar recognition.”
Among the most well-known and respected trademarks in the global travel industry, the AAA Five Diamond status is the highest-possible rating bestowed by the travel authority, which conducts annual evaluations of hotels and restaurants across North America. According to AAA, the Five Diamond rating is reserved for hotels that meet “impeccable standards of excellence,” from first-class accommodations and extraordinary physical attributes to personalized services and amenities that exceed guest expectations. Only .5% of hotels in the world receive the highly coveted Five Diamond rating.
