West Hollywood has just welcomed its newest addition: the contemporarily elegant Pendry West Hollywood Hotel and Residences.
Set within the heart of the legendary Sunset Strip at the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Olive Drive, the boutique abode features 149 luxury guestrooms and 40 Pendry Residences.
Designed by the acclaimed Ehrlich Yanai Rhee Chaney Architects and executed by Cuningham Group Architects, the ultra-modern facade houses striking interiors by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio and what seems like an endless list of guest and residence owner amenities including the much-anticipated Merios restaurant by chef Wolfgang Puck.
Merios, Pendry West Hollywood’s signature open-air restaurant, takes prime position upon the hotel’s rooftop providing unparalleled sunset views over Los Angeles. On the menu you’ll find signature dishes from the world-famous chef with influences from Japanese, Southeast Asian and French-California cuisine. Other food and lifestyle concepts found within the stylish west Hollywood destination include the exclusive private membership club The Britley, wellness-focused Spa Pendry which stocks the latest in luxury sustainable products, the chic Bar Pendry, as well as a multi-purpose live entertainment venue, complete with screening room, bowling alley, state-of-the-art fitness center and curated art collection.

On opening, Michael Fuerstman, co-founder and creative director at Pendry Hotels & Resorts said: “West Hollywood is undergoing a cultural revival, and through our art, design, culinary, wellness and entertainment offerings, we have created an exclusive guest experience unlike anything in greater Los Angeles,”
“We’re passionate about designing a community experience for locals by locals and envision the hotel as a hospitality and entertainment anchor in the city,” he added.
The first Los Angeles hotel and first-ever branded residence by the new boutique hotel brand – which was launched by luxury travel giant, Montage International – the new Pendry West Hollywood is the result of a collaboration between AECOM Capital, the real estate investment management arm of AECOM, and Combined Properties, a full-service real estate firm.
