Mandarin Oriental, Miami Completes Extensive Refurbishment

Mandarin Oriental, Miami is celebrating its 10th anniversary and the luxury city resort has completed an extensive renovation to mark this special occasion in grand style. The new enhancements include the redesign of its 295 spacious guestrooms, rejuvenated Oasis Beach Club with chic beach furnishings and a newly renovated Presidential Suite. To celebrate 10 years in Miami, guests can reserve the “Miami’s Top 10” anniversary room package and enjoy keepsake amenities plus a “top 10” luxury extra.

Guestrooms The guestrooms have been refurbished in elegantly chic décor by Atlanta-based designer Jan Clausen and showcase a harmonious balance between colors, texture and materials. The new rooms feature the latest in technology including state-of-the-art audio visual equipment that has been finely and stylishly integrated into the furniture wall. Custom pillow shams, Anichini bed linens, and Oriental lantern-inspired bedside and floor lamps are just a few of the intricate décor details evoking understated elegance with Asian accents. All guestrooms feature balconies overlooking Biscayne Bay or the Miami skyline and are equipped with dual phone lines, cordless phone, wireless high speed internet access, Bose sound system, flat screen TVs, DVD players and iPod Sound Dock Music System.

Oasis Beach Club Oasis Beach Club offers a variety of choices for guests while lounging and enjoying sun, sand and sea. The new furnishings on the private beach resemble the design palette in the hotel’s lobby with vibrant red and orange colors and include chaise lounges, cocoon daybeds and hammocks. The luxurious cabanas alongside the beach are elegant and exceedingly spacious providing total privacy with flat-screen TVs. The cabanas can be reserved on a half day or full day basis and include bespoke butler services. Guests can also enjoy outdoor beach massages from the extensive range available at the Five-Star Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Miami. At night, the beach becomes a magical destination lit by flickering lanterns with views of Miami’s skyline. Alongside the beach is a stunning infinity-edge swimming pool, Jacuzzi and 1.3 mile jogging path.

Presidential Suite – The Oriental Suite Guests residing in the newly renovated Oriental Suite located high atop the 20th floor of the hotel have access to their own technologically advanced media presentation room with theatre-style seating, fully equipped with a 65-inch Bang & Olufsen Plasma TV and surround-sound systems. The Oriental Suite, which is one of two presidential suites, also features a luxurious living room, formal dining room, and a balcony that runs along the entire length of the suite. It is intricately decorated with purple and gold silk-woven pillows, area rugs and drapery, and white gold and bronze wood finishes. The bathroom features an oversized shower, freestanding tub and a floor-to-ceiling window. Other highlights of the USD 6,500 per night Oriental Suite include a custom bar, two additional Bang & Olufsen TVs in the bedroom and living room, DVD player, CD player, wireless high speed internet and fax capabilities, two-line speaker phones and cordless phone, unique artwork, plush robes and slippers and luxurious bath amenities.

Anniversary Package Mandarin Oriental, Miami presents “Miami’s Top 10,” an enticing travel package for guests celebrating a special occasion of their own.
