Originally built as a hotel in the late 1930’s by famed architect Henry Hohauser, The Webster has gone from housing South Beach tourists to fashion houses. What was once a four story hotel has transformed into a three story, 20,000-square-foot luxury multi-brand boutique devoted to fashion, jewelry and photography—enjoyment for Miami Beach tastemakers and jetsetters alike.
Located on Collins Avenue in the heart of South Beach, this international fashion mecca opened at the beginning of June. With a decidedly classic Art Deco 40’s vibe, it boasts the very best in luxury service, carrying men and women’s ready-to-wear, sportswear and accessories such as shoes, bags, jewelry and vintage watches. Each item is diligently selected by the founders – Laure Heriard Dubreuil, Frederic Dechnik and Milan Vukmirovic—from the fashion runways of more than 30 brands.
“Our goal is to provide the best selection, quality and service in the most opulent setting which will appeal to a sophisticated clientele with a passion for affluence and fashion,” co-founder Frederic Dechnik said in a press release.
In addition to all of fashion’s finest brands to choose from (Tom Ford, Yves Saint Laurent and Ralph Lauren to name a few), The Webster has teamed up with esteemed Parisian restaurant Caviar Kaspia to launch the French institution’s first restaurant on U.S. soil. Apart from the world renowned caviars, the menu is an invitation to taste authentic flavors from the land and sea, including a rare assortment of smoked fish, wild salmon, lobster medallions and duck foie gras.
