London, UK – Reported by Elite Traveler, the private jet lifestyle magazine
With news of the upcoming Spice Girls musical ‘Viva Forever’ due to hit London’s West End in December, jet-setter Victoria Beckham flew to London to promote the stage show with her fellow Spice Girls.
It has been 16 years since the pop princesses took the music world by storm and the new musical will feature a storyline based on their biggest hits. Rather than the trademark platform heels and tracksuits that were the hallmarks of their stardom, each of the girls looked glamorous and sophisticated, none more so than Victoria.
These days as a fashion icon and designer, there is more style to ‘Posh Spice’ than just the name as she is constantly seen flitting in and out of some of the most lavish and opulent hotel suites across the world.
A few notable stays include:
• Me Cancun, Mexico
Sweeping views of the Caribbean Sea and packed with luxurious modern amenities, the expansive Suiteme Suite provides a chic urban getaway that perfectly matches Victoria’s taste for exclusivity and sophistication.
• The Lowell, New York
One of the fashion capitals of the world, it comes as no surprise to see New York’s iconic Penthouse Suite was Victoria’s top choice for a trip to the Big Apple. Classically luxurious and elegant it includes in-room yoga facilities and a wood-burning fireplace that offers a selection of different scents such as cedar wood and eucalyptus or lavender and rosemary—perhaps inspiration for Victoria’s own fragrances.
• Hôtel de Charme Les Airelles, France
One of Courcheval’s finest luxury hotels, the top Lys Martagon Suite was the Beckham’s choice for a winter wonderland get-a-way. With the air of a glamorous fairytale ski chalet, it offers enviable access to some of the best ski-slopes in Europe and an ideal winter retreat for those with luxurious tastes.
• Amanjena, Morocco
A popular destination of celebrities and socialites this is the perfect haven for pampering. The Beckhams aren’t the only celebrities to have stayed in the vast Al-Hamra Maison here, which also lists Sienna Miller, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie as its previous guests.
• Caesars Palace, Las Vegas
Set in one of the world’s most iconic hotels, the opulent Constantine Villa exudes the air of an ancient Greek palace with enormous, columned entrances and highly polished interiors that exude the luxury for which Victoria is famed.
