The newest Caliber 1932 movement within this watch was six years in the making, holds 17 patents, and is a fully integrated minute repeater and chronograph - with antimagnetic properties. The movement, the most complicated caliber Omega has ever made, was developed in tandem with Omega's sister brand, Blancpain. Despite repeated challenges, the caliber expands the capacities of the famed Co-Axial escapement, running at 5 Hz, displaying 1/10th of a second counting and split-second chronograph functions, and incorporating three chime cams and two security functions. It is built to withstand magnetic fields of 15,000 Gs thanks to 50 non-ferrous components and is Master Chronometer certified. The 45mm watch is crafted in Omega's proprietary Sedna Gold.

Omega created timepieces that are so precise that it has been the official timekeeper for the Olympics since 1932. Yet despite being the sportsman's most reliable watch, the brand continues to innovate and elevate its craft. One of the brand's most iconic innovations is the Master Chronometer. Twice as precise as any other certified chronometer, water resistant and anti-magnetic, watches employing this mechanism are dependable and durable irrespective of surrounding conditions.Utilizing this mechanism, the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Ultra Deep that debuted in 2022, is the world's first dive watch that has water resistance up to an amazing 6,000 meters. The Prestige, Chrono Chime and Co-Axial Master watches similarly uphold the brand's steadfast reputation while retaining aesthetic charm. The Material Difference motto, also followed by the brand, incorporates the industry's most essential materials but uplifts to ensure longevity and beauty in all its designs. As well as metals and alloys, Omega employs unrivaled expertise in the use of ceramics, allowing its watches to be twice as light as those made from stainless steel, be chemically inert, hypoallergenic and scratch-resistant.
