Created as a piece unique, the new Roger Dubuis Excalibur Diabolus in Machina (‘Devil in the Machine') is all about pushing the boundaries. The complicated watch houses a mechanical movement consisting of 558 pieces and chimes the time (hours, quarter hours and minutes after the quarter hours) on a minute repeater using a musical chord (‘Diabolus in Musica') that was outlawed in medieval religious music because it possessed a somewhat primitive harshness. In the watch, the hammers and gongs are tuned to C and G flat for unusual sound. The watch also features a flying tourbillon (that compensates for errors in gravity when the watch is in different positions on the wrist). The 45mm watch carries the Hallmark of Geneva certification, attesting to its meticulous craftsmanship and finishing.

Within the heart of Geneva, Roger Dubuis combines state of the art technology with time-honored tradition to create futuristic timepieces. After shocking the world with its novel skeleton design in 2005, innovation has become the norm as the brand regularly reinterprets its 100% mechanical calibers using modern materials.Roger Dubuis's creativity is what has gained it a cult-like following, especially after the debut of its new Knights of The Round Table Monotourbillion in 2022. Featuring 12 knights that are individually hand-carved and micro-sculpted in gold, Murano glass blocks and the brand's iconic Poinçon de Genève certification, this monotourbillon reflects Roger Dubuis's dominant stance within the watchmaking market.
