The Louis Moinet Astronef watch, three years in the research and development stages, takes inspiration from the brand's Space Revolution, but with a more defined triple-level caliber that boasts two high-speed tourbillons rotating in opposite directions and on different levels, to compensate for the effects of gravity when the watch is in certain positions on the wrist. The two tourbillon escapements cross paths every three minutes, 20 seconds - making for a delightful dance on the wrist, held together with the hands in a tower structure. In total, six different elements are constantly in motion. The new movement consists of 471 parts. The watch is crafted in sapphire crystal and 18-karat gold. Approx.

Rooted in genius, Louis Moinet is notable for the tremendous achievements of the brand's namesake. Having perused both theoretical and practical study of horology, Louis Moinet was a watchmaker whose wisdom emerged in his creations, his talent so evident that it was held in extremely high regard. Moinet was commissioned by the greatest figures of the early 19th century, including Napoleon, Thomas Jefferson and the King of Naples. Fit for nobility, the elegance, attention to detail and dependability of these watches proves unmatched as they are still sought after today. The brand's Cosmic Art collection does as stated, transporting viewers into another world through artistic imagination. Featuring shimmering backgrounds that mimic the galaxy, the textured moon surface with circle pattern and futuristic space shuttles surfacing on the watch face, one is invited to partake in the race to the moon and reside within it. The Mechanical Wonders collection similarly mesmerizes through its clockwork complexity while sleek straps make the accessory timelessly fashionable.
