Throughout comic book history, when it comes to vehicles, it’s often the Batmobile that has captured the imagination of the masses. However, that doesn’t mean the caped crusader’s alter ego — the billionaire tycoon Bruce Wayne — doesn’t also get a taste of the action, especially when he’s a customer of Automobili Pininfarina.
The iconic Italian coachbuilder — now known as the designer and manufacturer of the Battista and B95 — has just announced a new collaboration. Teaming up with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products’ luxury brand Wayne Enterprises, Automobili Pininfarina has created a collection of bespoke vehicles inspired by Bruce Wayne himself.
This new collection is made up of four vehicles, two new versions of both the Automobili Pininfarina Battista hyper GT and B95 hyper Barchetta, the two hypercars that Pininfarina currently produces. The two different cars are each presented as Gotham and Dark Knight varieties.

Each car is entirely electric, living up to Bruce Wayne’s status as a visionary entrepreneur with a passion for cutting-edge innovation. While Automobili Pininfarina’s philosophy of ‘Dream Cars. Made Real’ is clear from the bespoke nature and exquisite Italian design and luxury detailing of each car.
It’s perhaps the case that owning one of these vehicles is the closest you can get to living the life of Bruce Wayne. Every detail of these new cars has been painstakingly considered and refined to echo the luxurious lifestyle of the comic and cinema icon who first appeared in 1939.

The cars feature nods to the Batman universe throughout, new Wayne Enterprises-inspired HMI display enhancements have been made, including an instruction voice inspired by Wayne’s butler Alfred Pennyworth.
“Designing an all-electric hypercar inspired by Bruce Wayne is a dream assignment for our team, giving them creative freedom to place themselves into the imagination of someone as iconic as Bruce Wayne,” says Dave Amantea, chief design officer at Automobili Pininfarina. “These two exclusive specifications for our two hypercars represent the ultimate vehicles for the man behind the most famous mask in the world.”

Even without the added Bruce Wayne eccentricities, both the B95 and Battista sound like vehicles driven by a superhero. The cars are powered by a high-capacity 120kWh lithium-ion battery and four motors that together generate 1,900 hp. Such a vast amount of power is enough to propel each car from zero to 62 mph in less than two seconds — in a straight line, they are both faster than a Formula One car.

The Gotham specification of each vehicle has been created to exude the more relaxed, civilized side of Bruce Wayne. Featuring an elegant tan leather interior, accentuated with bespoke quilting for the center panels. The bodywork is finished in Argento Vittorio gloss paint, with the Battistas featuring a Nero Torino gloss paint Goccia roof.
The Dark Knight specification of each vehicle plays on how Bruce Wayne uses technology to gain the upper hand against his adversaries. Both cars use a black Alcantara and black leather interior. The exteriors are finished in Nero Profondo gloss paint, creating a sleek Batman-esque all-black look.
These impressive new releases will all be available to purchase at BruceWayneX.com. There will also be an exclusive invite-only retail theater concept this summer, where an Automobili Pininfarina Battista will be on display in all its glory.
