Krug Launches Exclusive Experiences with Indagare Travel

The new itineraries are centered around the culinary world's relationship with flowers.

By Kim Ayling

Krug Champagne has partnered with Indagare Travel, a membership-led luxury travel agency, to launch Indagare Insider Journeys: Discover the Krug Single Ingredient – a series of new culinary-led experiences highlighting the country’s best chefs and restaurants.

Available to book now and launching fall 2024, the collection of itineraries continue the champagne house’s annual activation which sees it invite its global network of chef-ambassadors to interpret a yearly-changing ingredient. With this year’s ingredient being the flower, Indagare Insider Journeys: Discover the Krug Single Ingredient celebrates the diversity and the versatility of floral species in gastronomy.

The three experiences – each of which span four days – uniquely pair a selection of Krug’s most exclusive cuvées with some of the US’s most enthralling natural landscapes, with menus created by a number of the country’s most celebrated chefs.

The first, which runs October 17-20, heads to the wild Californian coast for an open-fire cooking experience in a secluded cove, with accommodation at the culinary mecca that is Harbor House Inn, in Elk. The second will take place from November 11-14, and invites culinary aficionados embark on personalized foraging experiences in the Vermont countryside, with a stay at the award-winning Twin Farms.

Concluding the trio of Indagare Insider Journeys: Discover the Krug Single Ingredient experiences is a voyage to Tennessee’s mystical Great Smoky Mountains on December 5-8, where the remote Blackberry Farms beckons. Each itinerary has been meticulously curated by Indagare Travel CEO and founder, Melissa Biggs Bradley, and will be hosted by designated culinary leaders and experts.

“Each itinerary is meticulously crafted to deliver a sensory journey, complemented by exceptional Krug Champagne experiences, at some of our favorite hotels in the US,” says Biggs Bradley. “These include the finest boutique properties in California, Vermont and Tennessee, each known for their distinctive locations, character, charm and high-touch, authentic service.

“Indagare Insider Journeys: Discover the Krug Single Ingredient immerses you in the world of Krug and exquisite locally sourced farm-to-table cuisine (and terroir in its truest sense) — these are extraordinary culinary journeys you won’t find anywhere else.”
