Lucky guests who get their feet through the door can expect to be treated to a number of tastings of prestige bottles and collections, as well as the chance to shop exclusive expressions. A dedicated whisky concierge will be on hand to curate their personalized experiences.
In order to showcase the very best of The Macallan’s culinary prowess, the brand has collaborated with chef Chris Sayegh who has created a series of signature menus that deftly hark back to its Scottish roots while simultaneously showcasing sustainable, local ingredients. Demonstrating its status as a modern, accessible whisky label, The Macallan Villa will also offer a bespoke menu of cocktails, each of which draws inspiration from the brand’s Speyside estate and the Southern Californian terroir.

Discretely tucked away near Bel Air, the villa has been designed to reflect the cool, laidback Los Angeles vibe, as well as the city’s close proximity to nature. Inside, the decor is light, breezy and minimal, while the al fresco spaces – including the rooftop terrace – are expertly landscaped, with plenty of versatile dining and social spaces. A branded swimming pool acts as a subtle nod to the more hedonistic LA social scene.
The Macallan has also partnered with artist David Carson to create signature artwork that brings The Macallan story to life; his visual interpretation of the latest installment of the Colour Collection.
