Hong Kong-based Metrojet will be the first Authorized Service Center for Embraer Executive Jets’ midsize Legacy 500 in Greater China.
The amendment to the parties’ Authorized Service Center Agreement of 2011 was signed in a ceremony held yesterday at the 2014 Asian Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (ABACE) in Shanghai, China.
This agreement amendment will expand the service scope of Metrojet, the first Embraer Executive Jets Authorized Service Center in Greater China, who is already authorized to provide line and base maintenance service for the Company’s ultra-large Linage 1000E, large Legacy 650, super midsize Legacy 600. The maintenance provider also manages a fleet of three Embraer Executive Jets aircraft.

This agreement amendment is further evidence of Embraer Executive Jets’ effort to have comprehensive support and services in place for the first Legacy 500 enters into service in 2014. Jackie Chan, the world renowned movie star and philanthropist, will take delivery of his new aircraft in 2015, and become the first Legacy 500 customer in China.
