ExecuJet Aviation Group acquired its first FBO in the Caribbean region at Princess Juliana International Airport on the island of St. Maarten. ExecuJet’s St. Maarten FBO, acquired from TLC Aviation, takes the ExecuJet FBO network to 24 locations globally as part of the Luxaviation Group.
Opening in early June, the St. Maarten FBO offers many services including ground handling, fuelling, air charter, flight plans, executive transport and accommodation services for both customers and crew. “We’re delighted to begin offering our customers support in the Caribbean region,” says Mike Berry, President of Aviation Services for ExecuJet.
Committed to increasing its footprint across the globe, ExecuJet’s Munich FBO joined in February 2016, becoming the company’s second handling facility in Germany after Berlin Schoenefeld. Also, through a partnership with National Air Services in Saudi Arabia, an additional FBO facility was formed in the Royal Terminal at King Khalid International Airport, Riyadh, in February.
In April, ExecuJet opened its first FBO in Monterrey, Mexico as well as entering the Indian FBO market for the first time. Through a partnership with The Bird Group, ExecuJet will open its Delhi FBO at Indira Ghandi International Airport as an expansion to its existing facilities. Also underway is the completion of the newly-rebranded ExecuJet FBO facility in Brussels.
“Our FBO business continues to grow and new customers and opportunities keep presenting themselves – a true testament to the increasing strength of our brand,” says ExecuJet CEO, Gerrit Basson. “Each FBO provides customers with the same outstanding quality of service while also reflecting the surrounding region, giving a local flair to the ExecuJet brand.”
“As ExecuJet continues to expand, investing in our business to suit the needs of our customers will remain one of the cornerstones of our success. We look forward to announcing more FBO developments later in the year.”
