The Restaurant
Located in Nuenen, a town once home to Vincent van Gogh, Restaurant de Lindehof offers artistry of a different kind. Chef Soenil Bahadoer, drawing upon his Surinamese-Hindustani roots, presents a cuisine that is both innovative and deeply personal. Bahadoer's success is a testament to hard work, impressing diners with his unique approach. The atmospheric dining room, adorned with modern art, provides an elegant backdrop for Bahadoer's creations. He masterfully infuses European dishes with influences from Suriname, India, and Indonesia, resulting in creations that are both spicy and captivating. While flavor profiles are occasionally complex, they remain impeccably balanced, showcasing his precise seasoning. De Lindehof currently holds two Michelin stars. However, after 30 years, chef Soenil Bahadoer will be closing the doors on May 1st, 2025, to pursue new ventures.
