The Restaurant
Alinea, located in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood, offers a unique, multi-course tasting menu experience. Chef Grant Achatz continues to inspire with novel ideas at this ingenious and festive establishment. Dining here is part theater and pure pleasure, an olfactory experience marked by scented vapors and tableside fun. Executive chef Douglas Alley is firmly in play, turning out whimsical and experimental items. Alinea has maintained its three Michelin stars since the Chicago guide's inception in 2011, one of only 13 restaurants in the U.S. to achieve this coveted rating. The restaurant has also won James Beard Awards for Outstanding Restaurant in the U.S., Outstanding Service in the U.S., and Outstanding Chef in the U.S.
