The CFDA award-winning designer has teamed up with luxury active apparel company once again on a 22-piece Jonathan Simkhai x Carbon38 collection for women.
A surprising muse for the activewear collection, the corset, has been reimagined in movement-friendly pieces that put the restrictive traditional design to rest. Corset tops become exercise-ready as sports bras with lace-up detailing that carries over to drawcord leggings. Flared pants, belted t-shirts, flounced sleeves and lace accents complete a collection of feminine workout wear.
“Collaborating with Carbon38 for the second time was a natural step as they understood and embraced my aesthetic,” said Simkhai in speaking to Elite Traveler. “I created the collection for women who want unique designs that excel in functionality with the goal to empower them to lead their active lives in style.”
