With its tranquil light-filled wellness space spilling out onto a secluded interior garden, Spa Le Bristol by La Prairie is one of the highlights for many people staying at this celebrated Parisian hotel. Here, you know you can expect to have treatments entirely tailored to your preferences and needs in the hands of the spa’s expert therapists. Now the spa here is launching its latest offering in collaboration with natural skincare brand Tata Harper.
With the arrival of this skincare brand comes a dedicated treatment room designed by the Parisian architects Yann Le Coedic and Alessandro Scotto to combine Parisian charm with a soft and serene atmosphere. Tata Harper, the Colombian skincare specialist behind the eponymous brand explains: “Through the use of typically French elements like a diamond glass screen, gloss lacquered moldings, green velvet divan, floral wallpaper and French vintage mirrors, we shaped an immersive environment. It works around an elegant play on light, transparency and reflection that provide an overall sense of well-being.” Through this design, the architects have succeeded in capturing the freshness and efficacy of the Tata Harper products used here.
Rather than just incorporating these products into existing treatments, the spa has launched an exclusive Tata Harper treatment menu, which Harper developed with Le Bristol in mind. Now guests at the spa have the chance to try body treatments such as a ‘liquid gold organic body massage’ and ‘head to toe detox body treatment’. While the first features the Tata Harper skincare Liquid Gold, which is made with herbs grown on Harper’s organic farm in Vermont, the detox treatment uses an award-winning age-defying formula incorporating extracts from the Vermont farm.
Commenting on the new collaboration, Tata Harper says: “In 2011, I moved to a farm in Vermont and embarked on the journey to create Tata Harper Skincare because I believed the future of luxury was 100 percent natural and non-toxic. Le Bristol Paris has been an arbiter of luxury for decades and I couldn’t think of a better partner to collaborate with in Paris to bring our collective vision of next generation nontoxic beauty to the City of Light.”
