It feels as if hardly a month goes by without Nobu adding another hotel or restaurant to its burgeoning collection. Now, the luxury brand has unveiled a new boutique hotel and restaurant in the heart of Seville – its sixth property in Spain, joining outposts in Ibiza, Barcelona, and Marbella.
Perhaps Robert De Niro can’t get enough of the Spanish sun, or maybe the killer location in the Andalusian capital was just too tempting to resist. Whatever the case, Nobu Sevilla is a strong contender for your next city break.
Situated in the vibrant Plaza San Francisco, a historic square in the Casco Antiguo, the new hotel is the perfect base from which to explore the city. The property is set across two early 20th-century residential buildings which have been meticulously restored to their former glory.

Nobu Sevilla features just 25 rooms giving it an intimate feel. Every effort has been taken to lovingly preserve the existing architecture; the hotel is centered around a pretty glass courtyard and marble staircase adorned with colorful tiles.
Rooms are divided into categories ranging from deluxe right up to the 1,152-sq-ft Nobu Suite which boasts a separate lounge and balcony overlooking the tiled roofs of the square. As you would expect from a Nobu property, the interiors are laid-back and minimalist: think walnut wooden floors, crisp white linens and simple furnishings.
Of course, one of the main draws at Nobu Sevilla is the signature restaurant where you can enjoy Nobu Matsuhisa’s classic dishes including black cod miso, yellowtail sashimi and the finest Japanese wagyu beef. There’s also a chic rooftop garden bar, sunny terrace with a pool, and a 24-hour gym.
“We are delighted to be partnering with MHRE on our third hotel and restaurant, following the announcements of San Sebastian and Madrid, and to be opening our sixth Spanish hotel for the brand,” said CEO of Nobu Hospitality, Trevor Horwell.
“Seville is a charming, historic city that has emerged as a must-visit destination for many of our Nobu guests and we are confident that the Nobu brand will be embraced by local residents and international travelers alike.”
