Sushi master Nobuyuki Matsuhisa has used his classic sushi chef training and Peruvian influences to create edgy and exciting flavors. Timeless in its Japanese design with lines of plain wooden tables, the restaurant was virtually an overnight success when it opened in 1987, and remains a landmark eatery for the Beverly Hills elite.
