Stacking up the accolades and awards, Grand Velas Resorts are known to contain some of Mexico’s best spas within the most stunning of beachside locations. Now, in preparation for the cooler months, the five-star luxury resort is introducing a new collection of fall spa experiences as well as a selection of innovative touchless treatments across its three properties.
The new contactless treatments will see the resort’s renowned hydrotherapy therapies re-imagined to provide a touchless experience. Grand Velas seven-step water-focused treatment includes a eucalyptus-scented steam room with chromotherapy, peppermint ice room, polar pool, sensory shower, sauna, and Jacuzzi. In Grand Velas Los Cabos and Riviera Maya, a multi-sensory pool also features several hydro elements such as powerful massaging faucets for the neck and back and bubble beds, carved-stone chaises with jets set just underneath the surface of the water on which guests recline.
Grand Velas will also introduce a new private Blossom Ceremony, an energizing ritual designed to align the body in harmony with nature through shamanic sounds to the rhythm of the ocean. The touchless treatment also includes a symbolic offering to Yemaya, goddess of the sea.

As well as its new contactless therapies, Grand Velas’ latest offering contains a host of new therapist-led experiences designed for total relaxation while indulging in classic fall scents.
Within the serene surrounds of the 35,000-sq-ft spa at Grand Velas Los Cabos, guests can enjoy the Autumn Cacao Experience. Featuring Mexican cacao seeds to revitalize face and body, guests can revel in the delicate textures and scents of cocoa while soaking up the benefits with a plantain leaf body wrap.
At the Caribbean-adjacent resort of Grand Velas Riviera Maya, new wellness experiences are offered for both adults and teens. The detoxifying Citrus Foot Bath treatment is ideal for pampering tired feet and includes a hydrating foot bath with citrus, honey and cinnamon and an ancestral reflexology massage. For teens, the new Pumpkin in the Air Spa Atelier workshop is designed for younger guests to learn about the benefits of taking care of their skin from an early age whilst also creating a deliciously scented pumpkin scrub packed with vitamins and antioxidants.
Pumpkin also features on the new treatment menu at Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit’s award-winning spa with its new Autumn Wellness Experience. Starting with a relaxing back massage, the treatment harnesses the antioxidant properties of the orange-hued superfood through a bodywrap naturally infused with calcium, magnesium and essential vitamins.
