Jungsik, located in Tribeca, presents a modern and unique interpretation of Korean cuisine. The dining room, cool and polished, embodies a downtown elegance with its intimate proportions and dark and light color scheme. Helmed by chef/owner Jungsik Yim and executive chef Daeik Kim, the restaurant begins its tasting menu with a creative array of banchan, setting the stage for a distinctive dining experience. The restaurant earned three Michelin stars in 2024, making it the first Korean restaurant outside of South Korea to achieve this honor. The tasting menu unfolds with delights such as octopus with gochujang aioli and dry-aged Arctic char in kimchi and red curry sauce. Jungsik offers highly original and impeccably executed cooking, providing a satisfying meal.
