The Restaurant
Away from Osaka's bustling center, in a quiet residential neighborhood, lies Shunsaiten Tsuchiya, a refined destination for tempura and kaiseki cuisine. The restaurant occupies a renovated traditional Japanese house, its white stone walls and gray-tiled roof exuding understated elegance. Since 2012, Shunsaiten Tsuchiya has maintained its two Michelin star status, a testament to chef Yukihiko Tsuchisaka's dedication. Tsuchisaka's tempura is born from extensive training in Japanese cuisine, with techniques borrowed from counter kappo restaurants. The tasting menu showcases seasonal flavors, with each piece of tempura meticulously prepared. The attentive chef converses with guests, ensuring a personalized and memorable dining experience.
