Aaron Rodgers Designs His Own Zenith Chronomaster Watch

The Zenith Chronomaster Sport Aaron Rodgers Edition will be limited to just 250 pieces.

By Alex Martin

As a Super Bowl winner, four-time MVP and one of the NFL’s all-time great quarterbacks, there isn’t much left for Aaron Rodgers to achieve. But the New York Jets star says he has fulfilled a “lifelong dream” by designing his very own watch, the Zenith Chronomaster Sport Aaron Rodgers Edition.

Rodgers, who is currently sidelined following a serious Achilles tendon injury, is known for his meticulous attention to detail. Away from the field, he has always resonated with the art of watchmaking and has been an ambassador of Swiss watch brand Zenith since 2021.

Now, the 39-year-old has gone beyond wearing a Zenith watch by putting his name to a timepiece. The foundation of the watch is the popular Chronomaster Sport, including the El Primero chronograph with the ability to measure to 1/10th of a second. But the Aaron Rodgers Edition will feature several design details never before seen on the model.

Exceptionally for this edtion, the watch features an engraved bezel crafted in green ceramic and a matching dial. Also for the first time, the hour markers are applied luminescent Arabic numerals, which resemble NFL jersey numbers.

Rodgers spent 18 years with the Green Bay Packers, where he wore the No 12 jersey and inspired them to victory in Super Bowl 45, so it is fitting that his famous number stands at the head of a green watchface.

He said: “I’m so thankful to Zenith for giving me the opportunity to fulfill a lifelong dream of designing my very own watch.

“As a history buff I have immense respect for Zenith’s history and visiting their manufacture last year gave me an even deeper appreciation of their craftsmanship and dedication to excellence.

“Working with their team to incorporate all the different elements I wanted to include was a fun adventure and I couldn’t be happier to see our vision come to life in this watch.”

Zenith’s CEO Julien Tornare added: “I’m absolutely thrilled that our first-ever Chronomaster Sport limited edition was made in honor for our cherished brand ambassador Aaron Rodgers.

“It is a testament to his unstoppable spirit and determination. He continuously reminds us that the drive to reach your star should never be let go, even in times of challenge. And when you finally reach your star, aim for the next one.
