The Boca Raton Re-emerges Following $200m Refurbishment

The iconic Tower hotel is the flagship of the resort’s renovation.

By Kim Ayling

The iconic Boca Raton resort, which encapsulates five different hotels, has re-established itself as one of South Florida’s most sought-after destinations with the revealing of its mammoth renovation.

The resort’s Tower hotel has been the focus for the bulk of the project, with $65m of the total $200m cost directed at its refurbishment. The soaring 27-story Tower, which first opened in 1969, has been refurbished from top to bottom by architecture and design firm Rockwell Group, and has re-emerged with a fresh, elegant new look.

Each of the 224 guest rooms and suites have been reimagined, and now exude cool, coastal charm with light interiors, elevated furnishings and soaring views across the Atlantic Ocean. Smart new suite configurations also allow for entire-floor buyouts. Complimentary minibars, premium bath amenities and full resort access seal the deal.

Elsewhere in the new and improved Boca Raton Tower, guests can explore the Assouline-curated library, browse the NFT art gallery or visit the unique listening lounge, complete with Master & Dynamic headphones, with dedicated Tower butlers promising top-notch service. On the Tower’s exterior, a fresh lick of coral-pink paint conjures images of the vintage glamour of 1950s Miami.

Neighboring the Tower is the newly constructed Harborside Pool Club, a waterfront destination with three pools, water slides, dedicated kids’ club, luxury cabanas and an all-day pool bar serving up cocktails and light bites.

The original Cloister hotel, which first began welcoming guests back in 1926, has also been reimagined, now boasting new dining experiences and amenities, including a sprawling 54,000-sq-ft spa with 44 treatment rooms.

Elsewhere in the resort, guests can make use of the half-mile private beach, an 18-hole golf course, full-service marina, 16 tennis courts and six pickleball courts, exclusive shopping experiences, and over twelve new dining destinations, including four signature concepts in collaboration with Major Food Group.
