Aston Martin celebrated its debut as The Jockey Club’s first high-performance car partner by bringing its spin on horsepower to the Cheltenham Festival. The British marque made its presence felt with the public debut of its 2024 Vantage and a fleet of DBX707s, the fastest SUV in the world.
Cheltenham is the first major event on the UK’s horse racing calendar and the busiest for helicopter services in the UK. Everyone flying into the pop-up heliport had the chance to experience the DBX707 as they helped transport owners and VIPs to and from the hospitality sector throughout the four days.
Aston Martin also used the festival to showcase its new Vantage in public for the first time. With a legacy stretching back over seven decades, Vantage marks the pinnacle of the marque’s performance. Its 4.0-liter twin turbo V8 engine produces 665 PS and 800 Nm of torque, helping it onto a top speed of 202 mph, and into true supercar territory.

Sitting alongside the DBX707 and recently released DB12, the three cars underlined the ambitious plan to modernize one of motoring’s greatest luxury names. Under Lawrence Stroll’s ownership, the brand has sought to revitalize its brand by bringing its core collection up to date and is now intent on presenting it to would-be buyers in the right locations.
The Jockey Club, first established in 1750, remains an arbiter of luxury in the UK. Aston Martin is supporting all of its prestigious events in 2024, including the Grand National in April.
