H3: The Market’s Most Expensive Superyacht Debuts a New Design

Following an extensive redesign, the 345 ft Oceanco superyacht is asking for €295m.

By Ellys Woodhouse

The most expensive superyacht on the market has returned to the high seas, complete with a new look – and price tag. Following an extensive rebuild in 2024, the 105-meter (344.5 ft) Oceanco H3 superyacht has been listed by Will Bagshaw of Edmiston for €295m.

So extensive was the rebuild that it was actually considered a new build by Lloyd’s Register, H3 has already picked up a handful of awards for the new look, including a Neptune award at the 2024 World Superyacht Awards.

Reymond Langton Design was responsible for both the exterior and interior redesign, while Lateral Naval Architects and Oceanco collaborated on H3’s naval architecture. Providing the space for up to 20 guests, the rebuild transformed the former 95-meter yacht, delivered by Oceanco in 2000, with an extension of 10 meters (32.8 ft) to H3’s hull, eight meters (26.2 ft) of which at the aft deck and two meters (6.6 ft) towards the bow.

With luxury amenities and the power to boot, H3 is unprecedented in scale and nature, offering the latest design, technology and sustainability features. Powered by twin 3,862 MTU engines, with a top speed of 18 knots and a range of 6,000nm when cruising at 14 knots, H3 is also compliant with IMO Tier III regulations, meeting modern yacht standards for sustainability.

On board, the new design sees the H3 yacht burst with endless amenities and outdoor entertainment: from the outdoor bar on the sundeck to the concealable pool and entertainment space on the main deck – there’s even a touch-and-go helipad on the top, rated for an H155. An assortment of yacht toys and tenders on H3, including jet skis, seabobs and kayaks, plus a 10.10m Compass Open Sport tender, one 11.10m Compass Limo tender, and two 6.20m Yachtwerft Meyer rescue tenders, ensures entertainment in abundance for kids and adults alike.

There are 10 spacious cabins comprising five doubles, three twin cabins, the forward-facing owner suite, with his and hers ensuite bathrooms, a walk-in wardrobe and lounge setting, plus a VIP suite that has an additional private lounge and deck. Each of the rooms on board H3 is decorated with a soft and light color palette, where earthy tones are matched with geometric patterns to create calming interiors throughout the yacht.
